A domain name is a web address for a site. For example to get here you typed in www.pie.co.nz. - pie.co.nz is our domain name.

You find a host, such as PIE and you ask them to register the domain name for you.

A website is a series of HTML pages, linked to form a coherent whole. You are currently reading the PIE website.

A domain, and/or a website may be hosted.

Hosting a website involves having a computer online and set up to serve the pages to people as they ask for them. The pages live on the computer's hard drive.

Domain hosting is where someone has their computer hardware set up to administer a domain name and point it at something, like an email account, website, or both.

We need Your name, your companys name, a postal address, a phone number, an email address and your choice of domain name.

You can go to Domainz and look your name up.

If you have a hosting package or an access package that includes webspace with us we will host yo ur domain name for no ongoing fee. Our hosting package costs $15, including GST per month.

We charge an admin fee for the setup of a domain name. This is a one-off charge per domain name of $50.62, including GST.

Domainz, the institution that runs the domain registry, charges an annual fee per domain name of $49.50, and a one-off fee per domain name of $33.75, including GST.

We can integrate existing media into your website, or we can totally redesign everything, or something in between.
